TERMS OF SERVICE
Willebok Leather
Effective date: 11 October 2026
1. Introduction
Welcome to Willebok Leather. These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of our website, www.willebokleather.co.za, and your purchase of products from Willebok Leather.
Willebok Leather specialises in handcrafted leather goods, including bags, wallets, belts, accessories and other leather products.
By accessing our website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms of Service, subject to your rights under applicable South African law.
Please read these terms carefully before placing an order.
2. Business information
Business name: Willebok Leather
Website: https://www.willebokleather.co.za
Email: Info@willebokleather.co.za
Telephone: 072 190 7965
Country of operation: Republic of South Africa
3. Use of our website
You agree to use our website lawfully and not to engage in fraudulent activity, attempt to compromise website security, interfere with its operation or submit false information.
We reserve the right to restrict access where reasonably necessary for security, maintenance or legal compliance.
4. Products and handmade craftsmanship
Our products are individually crafted using genuine leather and other materials.
Due to the natural characteristics of leather and the handmade production process, individual items may vary in colour, grain, texture, markings and finish. These variations contribute to the unique character of each product.
Product photographs are intended to provide a fair representation of the goods. Colours may appear differently depending on your screen and device.
We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, dimensions and specifications are accurate.
Natural variations do not, by themselves, constitute manufacturing defects. However, this does not exclude products from applicable legal requirements relating to quality, durability, fitness for purpose or conformity with their description.
5. Product availability
Products displayed on our website are subject to availability.
Although we endeavour to maintain accurate stock information, an item may become unavailable or a stock discrepancy may occur.
If we cannot fulfil an order, we will notify you and arrange an appropriate resolution, including a refund where required by law.
We may update or discontinue products and designs for future orders. Changes affecting an order already accepted will be handled in accordance with our agreement with the customer and applicable law.
6. Prices and payment
All prices are displayed in South African rand (ZAR), unless otherwise stated.
The applicable purchase price is the price confirmed at checkout when the order is placed, subject to the correction of genuine pricing errors in accordance with applicable law.
Payment must be made using a payment method offered at checkout.
Orders may be subject to payment verification and fraud prevention checks. We may temporarily delay processing where reasonably necessary to verify a transaction.
If an order cannot be fulfilled because of a genuine pricing or payment error, we will contact you to resolve the matter. Any payment for an order that cannot be fulfilled will be refunded where required by law.
Customers are responsible for providing accurate payment and contact details.
7. Order confirmation and acceptance
After placing an order, you should receive an order confirmation by email.
An order confirmation acknowledges receipt of your order. Acceptance and processing remain subject to payment verification, product availability and applicable law.
We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order where there is a legitimate reason, such as suspected fraud, an unresolvable pricing error or product unavailability. Where payment has already been received, an appropriate refund will be arranged as required by law.
8. Order processing and production
Orders will be processed according to the production or dispatch timeframe displayed on the relevant product page, at checkout or agreed with the customer in writing.
Unless expressly agreed otherwise, processing estimates exclude courier transit time.
Custom-made and bulk orders may require additional production time. Any special lead times, quotations, deposits or payment arrangements will be communicated separately.
We will make reasonable efforts to notify customers of significant unexpected delays.
If we cannot fulfil an order within the agreed timeframe, any cancellation or refund will be handled in accordance with applicable law and the agreement with the customer.
9. Custom-made, personalised and bulk orders
Custom orders may include specific measurements, engravings, embossing, monogramming, colour choices, designs or other customer-requested specifications.
Customers should carefully check all supplied details and approve relevant specifications before production begins.
Once production has started, changes or cancellations may involve reasonable costs already incurred, where permitted by law.
Customers who supply artwork, logos or other materials for customisation confirm that they are authorised to use those materials.
Customisation does not remove statutory consumer rights relating to defective goods, incorrect specifications or other legal remedies.
Bulk orders may be subject to separate written quotations and agreed terms.
10. Delivery and shipping
Delivery options, charges and estimated timeframes will be communicated at checkout or agreed with the customer.
Customers are responsible for supplying a complete and accurate delivery address and contact details.
Courier transit times are estimates unless a specific delivery date has been expressly agreed.
Delays may arise from courier operations, public holidays, severe weather or other circumstances outside our reasonable control. We will make reasonable efforts to assist customers where delays occur.
If a parcel arrives visibly damaged, please contact us promptly and retain the packaging and photographs where possible.
Our obligations regarding delivery, loss, damage and refunds remain subject to applicable law.
11. Cancellations, returns and refunds
Our Returns & Refunds Policy forms part of these Terms of Service.
Our standard policy does not offer voluntary change-of-mind returns where the product conforms to its description and applicable legal requirements. However, statutory cooling-off rights and other consumer rights may apply to certain online purchases.
If a product is defective, incorrect, damaged or materially different from its agreed specifications, please contact us at Info@willebokleather.co.za.
We request that customers report concerns within seven days of delivery wherever possible to help us investigate promptly. This request does not remove or shorten any statutory rights.
Returns, exchanges, repairs and refunds will be handled in accordance with our Returns & Refunds Policy and applicable South African law.
Please read the separate policy before purchasing.
12. Product care
Leather is a natural material that requires appropriate care.
Customers should follow any care instructions supplied with their products and take reasonable precautions to protect leather from excessive moisture, prolonged direct sunlight, harsh chemicals and unsuitable cleaning products.
Natural ageing and changes in appearance may occur through normal use.
Damage caused by misuse, neglect, improper storage, unauthorised alterations or failure to follow reasonable care instructions may affect the remedies available, depending on the circumstances and applicable law.
13. Intellectual property
Unless otherwise indicated, website content, including photographs, product designs, written descriptions, branding, logos and graphics, belongs to Willebok Leather or is used with permission.
You may view and use website content for personal, non-commercial purposes relating to our products.
You may not reproduce, distribute or commercially exploit protected content without prior permission, except where permitted by law.
Purchasing a product does not transfer ownership of our intellectual property.
14. Website availability and accuracy
We endeavour to maintain an accurate, secure and accessible website. However, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability or that all information will always be free from errors.
We may update, maintain or modify the website from time to time.
If an error affects an order, price or product description, we will take reasonable steps to correct it and communicate with affected customers where necessary.
Nothing in this section excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
15. Third-party services
Our website may use third-party services, including payment processors, courier companies and website applications.
Those services may be governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
This section does not exclude any responsibility that Willebok Leather may have under applicable law for services provided as part of your transaction.
16. Privacy and personal information
We may collect and process personal information necessary to manage orders, arrange delivery, provide customer support, prevent fraud and meet legal obligations.
Personal information will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable South African data protection legislation, including the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA).
Payments may be processed by third-party payment providers. Customers should consult the relevant provider's terms and privacy information where appropriate.
Please refer to our separate Privacy Policy for more information about how personal information is handled.
17. Limitation of liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits a customer's statutory rights or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under South African law.
Subject to those restrictions, Willebok Leather will not be liable for losses that are not reasonably foreseeable or that arise from circumstances outside our reasonable control.
18. Circumstances outside our control
Events such as natural disasters, severe weather, transport disruptions, supplier interruptions, power outages, industrial action and government restrictions may affect production or delivery.
Where such circumstances affect an order, we will make reasonable efforts to communicate with the customer and agree on an appropriate way forward.
This provision does not remove any statutory cancellation, refund or other rights that may apply.
19. Complaints and disputes
If you have a question, concern or complaint, please contact us first so that we can investigate and attempt to resolve the matter.
Email: Info@willebokleather.co.za
Telephone: 072 190 7965
Nothing in these terms prevents a customer from approaching a relevant consumer protection body or court, or exercising any other right available under applicable law.
20. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms of Service to reflect changes to our business, products, website or legal obligations.
The latest version will be published on our website with its effective date.
Changes will not retrospectively remove rights that customers have already acquired under applicable law.
21. Governing law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
Any dispute will be dealt with in accordance with applicable South African law, without limiting any customer's statutory rights or access to an appropriate forum.
